Crixus spinning reel handle knob grip surfaces are molded with iconic KastKing shark head logos that drain water and channel it away from your hands. The KastKing Crixus spinning reel is more than just a fantastic handle. It is a true performance spinning fishing reel with high end components like a zinc alloy main gear and brass pinion gear and a light weight but rigid graphite frame and rotor and a CNC machined aluminum spool.
Crixus spinning reels have a total of five, double shielded stainless-steel ball bearings plus an instant anti-reverse for a total of 6 bearings. These bearings are corrosion resistant and deliver smooth retrieves while fishing. They transfer the power and precision of the reel throughout the fishing experience for the ultimate in smooth cast and retrieves. Crixus spinning reels are available in four-reel sizes from 2000 to 6000 for everything from panfish, trout, bass, walleye, steelhead and many inshore saltwater species.
Drag power with smoothness is critical to the performance of any reel. A strong drag that hesitates breaks light fishing lines. The Crixus carbon fiber drag is smooth and hesitance free at every level. When you need it, the Crixus reel can deliver over 17.5 LB pounds of run-stopping drag keeps you in control.
The aluminum handle is reversible for right or left-hand retrieve with a 5.2:1 gear ratios for the 2000/3000 size reels and 4.5:1 for the 4000/5000 size models.
